Serious theater director Jeanine (Amanda Seyfried) is tasked with re-editing her former mentor's most famous work, the opera "Salome." Haunted by dark and disturbing memories from her past, Jeanine lets her repressed trauma color the present as she re-enters the world of opera after so many years of absence.
